Anna Valley chosen by TV4
Anna Valley Group were commissioned by TV4/Ericsson to provide the latest Studio Displays Technology systems to TV 4 News in Sweden, working in collaboration with Chris Mansson of TV4 and Mikael Olsson of MOLB AB – Broadcasting and Media Consultants.
Anna Valley Group installed a wide variety of Display Systems that were designed to work within the Studio environment as an integrated studio set. This included a large 15 meter x 4 meter AOTOLED screen. This screen was treated with our unique anti moire system to ensure great on camera performance. Additionally, as it is in a 24hour News environment we designed into the displays additional resiliency including dual redundant data feeds and on panel bit map storage.
Before the project construction phase began, using our Technology Studio in west London, we were able to show the TV4 team the screen performance – including the unique anti moire properties with extensive testing on camera. This allowed all elements of the set to be signed off before purchasing. Allied to the huge LED screen is an 8.5 meter wide curved, high resolution Barco Video wall. The cubes use the latest specification LED projection cubes for low power consumption and maintenance free operation.
The displays were completed with an interactive system that utilised Samsung touchscreen technology which Anna Valley integrated to a Chyron Huego Graphics Engine.
Chyron Huego Graphics engines were also chosen by TV4 to provide the Video wall imaging/graphics; the signals were then distributed over a fibre opticsystem within the studio. Shooting Partners were responsible for the integration, testing and commissioning of the full system on site.
