AV2 Gets The Vote…

A myriad of LED displays using the latest high end equipment was created for the prestigious BBC General Election results programme, hosted by David Dimbleby and Huw Edwards at its London Elstree studios.  BBC and production designer Chris Webster, chose Anna Valley to provide the LED display equipment used for a spectacular studio.

Probably the most important screen on this year’s election show was our latest generation AV2 screen, which has a pin sharp 2.5mm pixel pitch and used for the highly detailed BBC results analysis graphics and text.  The BBC team knew that the analysis graphics would incorporate large amounts of text, requiring a font size considerably smaller than what would normally be used on a TV studio LED screen.

The BBC Election set also included our AV4 4mm LED, Toshiba 6mm and background screens in AV 12mm as well as the F30 LED.
