The Digital Event Awards are the brainchild of Mash Media, the largest media company in the global events industry, and owner of three of the biggest event-based exhibitions in the UK. With event categories ranging from award ceremonies, webinars, training programmes, conferences, exhibitions, festivals and charity events, along with skill-based and technology supplier categories, the awards were designed to celebrate the people and companies behind the new, digital approach to events during the lockdown.
Winning entry : Best Live Streaming Experience Award
The Best Live Streaming Experience Award recognises those that have used technology to continue to live stream an event to an audience that would usually attend in person. Anna Valley’s winning entry was for their work with Chrome Productions on Sotheby’s New York Evening Auction – a combination of a live broadcast and digital event that spanned three continents and which has been described as the “auction of the future.”
Commenting about the entry and event, the DEA judges said, “Amazing viewership statistics and good technical collaboration. Great use of audio and comms with a very nice case study video – this entry was innovative, awesome and cool! I suspect that this will completely disrupt the existing Sotheby’s business model”

Best Digital Fundraising Event BGC Virtual Charity Day 2020 by Brandfuel:

Best Digital Conference with a budget over £5K by TM Forum :
The show was hosted from a three-camera, purpose-built, 16-meter-wide studio at Anna Valley’s headquarters and included live and pre-recorded video feeds and a mix of content delivered in bite-sized chunks. Working with Common Ground Creative, Anna Valley provided full system design, technical support, equipment and crew for the series.
