Project Manager – Tobacco Dock

Reporting to: Technical Manager

Department Location: Anna Velley Rental

Main Purpose: The purpose of the predominantly on site based role is to work closely with the Broadcast & Events departments to technically deliver each project professionally to the client’s brief.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To liaise closely with Clients to ensure the excellent delivery of projects and meet the client’s needs.
• To attend planning meetings and help provide detailed and accurate scope of works, costs and design and quote for bookings.
• To take responsibility for the booking within the Operating Software and produce required documentation.
• To advise, specify and manage CADs, schematics, equipment lists and liaise with the Hire Desk regarding shortages.
• To liaise closely with the Operations Team to organise kit, crew and trucking logistics.
• To plan the project to high standards of H&S, creating H&S documentation, and ensuring Health and Safety requirements are adhered to throughout the project.
• Support and manage onsite technicians and crew in the successful delivery of events at a specified venue.
• To manage resources and support from elsewhere across the business / group.
• Manage the equipment stored onsite within a specified venue.
• To provide an operational point of contact for Clients and Sales team and liaise effectively in a timely manner.
• To manage project budgets and liaise with the Accounts and Operations Team to initiate invoicing.
• To complete project debrief with the client, ensuring any completion processes are followed and feedback gained.
• To provide client feedback into the management system and enable quality assurance.
• Any other duties as required

Skills:

• Broad technical understanding in Video, Audio and Lighting technologies.
• Understanding of the needs and growth of the company
• An up-to-date understanding of the AV marketplace including products and trends.

Senior Integration Technician - Feltham & Onsite

Reporting To: Operations Manager

Department Location: Anna Valley Integration

Main Purpose:

The purpose of the role is to work closely with the Project Managers and fellow Technicians to install audio visual solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Project Manager (PM) and wider integration team, to ensure that installations are carried out within the specified time-frame, using industry best practice and working to ISO standards and guidelines.
• Ability to work upon instruction from PM and independently
• Ability to challenge methodology as appropriate.
• Responsible for ensuring quality of installations, including cable runs, terminations, cable management, equipment mounting, labelling, marking up drawings.
• Creative problem solving on projects in conjunction with the PM.
• Escalating issues from site through the appropriate channels.
• Maintenance of Install equipment and spares at base.
• Appropriate preparation of installation equipment prior to an installation project.
• Mentorship of Junior Team Members and reinforcement of Safe and Good Practice.
• Upholding the Anna Valley name on Client Sites and other Public Spaces.
• Any other duties as required.

Skills:

• A broad experience and detailed knowledge of the following is desired:
• Rack building/pre-wire
• Install LED Screens, Video Walls and Flat Panel Displays, Projectors.
• Installing AV Control systems, e.g. Crestron, Polycom, VC
• Install audio equipment, speakers, microphones etc
• Solder AV connectors, terminate shielded category cable
• Structured cabling which includes pulling, terminating and testing all cable and wiring associated with audio/video cables
• Experience working on construction sites
• Manual handling tasks will be required when necessary for moving equipment

Check In Supervisor – Feltham

Reporting To:

Deputy Warehouse Manager/ Warehouse Manager


Department Location:

Feltham, Middlesex

Main Purpose:

To manage the Check In Team, overseeing their performance and ensuring the highest quality standards in relation to the Warehouse operations and assist in the day to day running of the Warehouse and resources

Duties and
Responsibilities:

•To recognise and promote the importance of accuracy in our processes in maintaining excellent delivery
•To ensure these processes are kept up to date
•To line manage the check in team, including leading departmental meetings
•To plan the check in of all jobs into the Feltham warehouse, looking ahead and allocating resources
•To allocate space for the check in to be completed
•To supervise the unloading of equipment from vehicles at the Warehouse
•To ensure vehicles are unloaded in a timely fashion
•To ensure all equipment movements are fully complete
•To accurately monitor, follow and ensure the efficiency of the returning jobs
•To supervise the receiving and return of sub hires.
•To work with the Assets team to ensure rental system accuracy
•To support the warehouse manager and deputy manager with supervision and management of the overall output of the Warehouse and wellbeing of the Warehouse staff.
•To assist with organising shifts and ensuring the warehouse is adequately resourced where necessary
•To effectively supervise, guide and inspire the warehouse team in following best practice and their personal development
•To identify and facilitate the training needs of the team
•To work with the Warehouse Manager to evaluate efficiency in our processes and develop to ensure the best quality outcomes

Main Purpose: The purpose of the role is to work closely with the Integration team to deliver and install high-tech AV solutions into client premises.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Senior Integration Technicians, Project Managers and service team, to ensure that high quality installations are carried out within the specified time-frame and guidelines.
• Providing feedback to the Integration team regarding specific installation and client issues on site.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance to existing installations as required.
• Manual handling tasks will be required when necessary for moving equipment
• Any other duties as required.

Skills:

• Preferably some previous experience of some of the items below.

Venue Account Manager - ExCeL

Reporting To: Director of Venues

Department Location: Venue specific – ExCeL

Main Purpose: The purpose of this role is to develop new relationships, identifying and securing new business opportunities within the venue division whilst maintaining regular contact and develop outstanding working relationships with Venue teams.

The successful candidate must be commercially aware, client facing with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to lead pitches and proven experience of a similar role within the Audio-Visual market with the evidence to support this.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • The Account Manager will be part of the Venue division team providing delivering measured growth.
  • Actively developing business from new clients / prospects
  • Generating and converting leads from venue and self-generated.
  • Researching and contacting new prospect businesses
  • Securing a pipeline of ongoing profitable revenue
  • Work closely with all internal departments of the business to ensure all services of the business are offered and upsold
  • Booking and attending client meetings
  • Presentation preparation and pitching

Prep Technician - Feltham, Middlesex & onsite

Reporting to: Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Supervisor

Department Location: Feltham, Middlesex & onsite

Main Purpose:

To ensure that all equipment is prepared for rental to an excellent standard.

Duties and
Responsibilities:

• To ensure that jobs are prepped to exacting standards, customised for each project, and all equipment leaves the warehouse in perfect condition.
• To assist with the check in of equipment where required.
• To assist Equipment Specialists with the timely turnaround of equipment
• To ensure that warehouse checkout procedures are adhered to
• To liaise with colleagues regarding shortages, sub hires and asset management
• To ensure all bookings are fully checked out on operating software
• To liaise with the Operations and Logistics team to ensure appropriate transport is organised
• To supervise Junior Technicians and On-site Technicians during the preparation of equipment
• To work collaboratively with outside organisations in the preparation of kit when required
• Working on site if required
• Any other duties as required
